WebOptiKey is an assistive on-screen keyboard designed to bring keyboard control, mouse control and speech to people with motor and speech limitations. Completely free, open source and compatible with low cost eye - tracking devices, it is a great alternative to often expensive and complicated AAC (alternative and augmentative communication) products. WebOptiKey uses a predictive text input, i.e. the user can just enter several letters and select a word from a list. Unlike many other screen keyboards, OptiKey is optimized for fast data entry. It automatically puts spaces between words (there’s no need to type them manually) and changes letter register when the user starts new sentences.
